We handle everything inside your home or business — from panel upgrades and wiring to EV charger installs and generator hookups. However, there are specific services that fall outside our scope, and we want to be upfront about that so you can get to the right professional fast.
We are not affiliated with your local power utility. Issues involving power lines, utility poles, transformers, or anything on the utility side of your meter are handled exclusively by your utility provider. This includes neighborhood-wide outages, downed power lines on public property, and street light repairs. Please contact your local utility company directly for these issues.
We do not work with the power and light company. We cannot view or manage your bills, and we cannot handle outages. The only role we have with the power and light company is when we need to pull a permit and they need to turn off the main power to your house — that is the extent of our relationship. We are also unable to point you to the right number or the right person for any utility company in Kansas City, Kansas, or Kansas City, Missouri. For anything related to that, please look at your power bill and call them directly.
If your power is out and it is affecting your entire street or neighborhood, that is a utility issue — not an electrical contractor issue. We do not dispatch crews for utility-caused outages and cannot restore power that the utility company controls. Call your utility provider to report and track outage restoration.
We just want to clarify: if your home has power but certain rooms or circuits do not, you may have an electrical problem that the utility companies do not handle — and that is something we can help with. However, if your whole neighborhood is out, there is nothing we can do, since we are not the utility company. Please call them directly to report any outages.
We do not rebuild electronic components or handle any electrical work on vehicles.
We are an electrician company, not an electrical supply company. We do not sell electrical supplies wholesale or to the public — we only stock them for our own technicians to install on your project.
We cannot repair electrical appliances or components such as TVs, washers, dryers, ovens, or any other electronics in your home. We are electricians: we can install fixtures, install new appliances, run proper wiring, and make sure everything is grounded correctly and getting the right voltage — but we do not service the unit itself. This also applies to electric motors, smart car chargers, and battery banks. We do offer diagnostic services to confirm whether the issue is electrical, but if something is wrong with the actual unit or appliance, there is nothing we can do.
We are a Generac Certified Dealer, and we do install Generac generators. However, we do not actively service them or offer maintenance plans for them. We do work with specific partner companies that help us provide warranty work. Please call us with any specific Generac issues or concerns, and we will address them accordingly.
If you are dealing with a downed power line, a sparking utility transformer, or any immediate public safety hazard involving utility infrastructure, do not call us — call 911 or your utility company’s emergency line immediately. These situations require utility crews with specialized equipment and authority.
